Artist | Woman | Mom | Friend
Born, and lived my early childhood in Paris, France, I moved to Princeton, New Jersey at age 10, for 18 months… I then lived my adolescence in Paoli, a suburb of Philadelphia where I was introduced to the arts and all its mediums. I pursued my passion by studying photography at Dawson College in Montreal... and then found myself as a medical photographer at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal for more than five years. Never having been to a school more than two years definitely has it’s pros and its cons.
I lived in Mille-Isles, in the Basses-Laurentides, for more than 16 years with my ex-partner, raising our two beautiful children, Justin and Alexandre. Following a breakup and two moves, I currently live in Saint-Sauveur with my children part-time, and my zoo full-time. My dog Kisho, a gentle giant with reconstructed knees, and a very affectionate cat, John. I’m now navigating life without a partner and am fully confident that the universe will take care of me.
Over the years, I have built my business, one brick at a time, and I take continuing training in marketing, sales, social media management, Photoshop techniques, woodworking, and more… I have a lot interests and I love it all !
Things that I love:
Family | Animals | VolleyBall | Poi Dancing | Canoeing | Camping | Hiking in the woods | Campfires | Mushroom hunting | Yoga | SUP | Smells of cedar, Rosemary, Lavender and Vanilla | Nordique Spa | Pizza (even though I bloat with cheese ;(
Things I don’t love:
Being far from my closest relatives | Being alone in building my business | All forms of injustices | Users and abusers | The salary gap between large media companies and solo-preneurs like myself | Life goes by way too fast
La Fondation Portraits d’Étincelle
I am a proud volunteer photographer for this organisation that supports parents morning the lost of a child. I’ve never taken for granted the fact that I birthed two healthy babies without any complications… My gratitude and experience as a medical photographer made me connect with this foundation and its purpose.
UNE POSE POUR LE ROSE
I took part in this fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Foundation, specifically for Breast Cancer. A cause close to my heart and a fantastic way and experience to highlight the beauty of every woman, encourage local businesses... A few editions were cancelled due to the pandemic and once my life is more stable, I hope to resume contributing to this cause in 2025. Go to see the results: UPPLR 2018 | UPPLR 2019
Creating exclusive experiences
As an AirBnB hostess I once managed a private room in our home with access to the spa, river, lakes and trails, and of course, me, as a photographer offering Studio, Outdoor, Boudoir & Lifestyle portraits... That formula no longer exists, but my flavour was there. Maybe one day I'll be a hostess again! Who knows ?
For exclusive artistic experiences, I'm always very open to any and all opportunities !
Land Acknowledgements
I respectfully acknowledge that I live and work on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Kanien’kehà:ka (Mohawk) people. The Laurentians have long been part of Indigenous trade routes and this land is part of the broader territory known as Tiohtià:ke, which has long served as a gathering place for diverse Indigenous communities. I honour their ongoing connection to the land and their contributions to its stewardship.
