I had the opportunity to photograph my beautiful neighbor a few summers ago and I never took the time to chat about these images! I convinced her mom to come into the studio for a glamour senior session to capture Daphne in her gown. I couldn’t have been more thrilled with the results !!
Featured here is also the first hand painted backdrop that I created… I still love it.
I was also able to grab a few shots of the proud parents while they were in the studio… And I’m really glad I did because I was able to create beautiful wall art with the mix of images we created together. A custom installation for a wall in the master bedroom that was begging for some attention !
The family also ordered a beautiful heirloom album as a keepsake… I always think of how amazing it’ll be when Daphne looks back through this album in 10, 20, 40 years from now !
I am always grateful when families trust capturing their memories with me, it is such an honor.
Hoping to do more of these sessions in the future… The last two years are a COVID-19 bust for graduates but if you have your dress, I can take your photos. Senior sessions and glamour portraiture are a great mix to create beautiful heirloom products. Don’t be shy to inquire about my 2021 availabilities … I think using photography to document these moments is more important than ever !! It would be amazing to see more graduates in front of my lens this year !
